ETH Zurich Excellence Scholarship & Opportunity Programme (ESOP) 2026/2027

ETH Zurich ESOP covers full living and study expenses (CHF 12,000 per semester) plus a full tuition fee waiver for top 10% international students pursuing a Master’s degree at ETH Zurich.

Eligibility Criteria

Outstanding academic record in Bachelor’s degree (top 10% of the class / Grade A).
Applying for a regular Master’s degree programme at ETH Zurich.
Open to national and international students.

Required Documents

Undergraduate degree certificate and detailed transcripts.
Pre-proposal for Master’s thesis (approx. 2-3 pages written independently).
Curriculum Vitae.
Two reference letters from professors.
Official ranking certificate confirming standing in top 10% of class.

Select the ESOP scholarship option within the application system.
Upload all required supplementary scholarship documents before November 30.
