Who Can Apply

To be eligible, applicants must:

  • Political scientists, researchers, and other scholars interested in the listed political science sections.
  • Authors may submit and present a maximum of one paper, although they may co-author additional papers presented by co-authors or serve as chairs or discussants.

Fields of Study

Political Science, including climate politics, comparative politics, development, conflict and security, electoral behaviour, European and EU politics, formal political theory, gender and sexuality politics, political economy, international relations, migration politics, political communication, political methodology, public policy, political representation, public opinion, and politics and AI.

Selection Criteria

Applicants are assessed on:

  • Submitted papers are considered for placement on conference panels by the relevant section chairs.
  • Each standard panel may include up to five papers, with one chair and one or two discussants.
  • All panelists must confirm their participation in advance.
