To be eligible, applicants must:

• Undergraduate students in their final year
• Master’s students
• Individuals holding a B.S. or master’s degree
• Overseas students

• NTD 30,000 per month stipend before tax
• Half of the cheapest economy-class round-trip airfare from the intern’s hometown to Taipei, up to NTD 15,000
• On-campus accommodation arranged at an affordable price

• Opportunities for scientific education and Chinese-language learning

Selection Criteria

Applicants are assessed on:

• Applicants must be overseas students eligible under the stated academic qualifications.
• Students pursuing a Ph.D. degree are not eligible.
• Students or individuals who have previously attended the TIIP program are not eligible.
• Current Academia Sinica employees or research assistants are not eligible.
