• Researchers, academics, educators, and professionals with relevant work in arts, humanities, media, communication, education, social sciences, and related interdisciplinary fields
• Authors submitting an abstract for an oral presentation, poster presentation, panel, workshop, live-stream presentation, or virtual presentation
• International participants interested in multidisciplinary research and dialogue

Arts, humanities, media, film studies, theatre, communication, aesthetics, design, language, linguistics, philosophy, ethics, history, literature, political science, education, globalisation, ethnicity and identity, immigration and refugees, Indigenous peoples, sexuality and gender, religion, cyberspace and technology, science and the environment, and related interdisciplinary fields.

Selection Criteria

Applicants are assessed on:

• Abstracts must pass an initial screening for accepted academic norms and completeness
• Submissions undergo double-blind peer review and final review by the Conference Programme Committee
• Abstracts should align with one of the conference submission streams or themes
• Workshop proposals should include the workshop description, three to five measurable learning objectives, target audience, structure, and any learning resources
• Panel proposals should clearly describe the topics to be discussed

Required Documents

• Author contact data, including correctly spelled first and last names, rank, affiliation, and affiliation country
• Full paper title
• Abstract of no more than 250 words
• Additional proposal details for workshops or panels where applicable
• Full paper in Microsoft Word format if publication in the Conference Proceedings is requested

How to Apply

Create an account or log in to IAFOR’s online submission system, enter the required author and paper information, choose a presentation format, and submit an abstract of up to 250 words. Submissions are screened and reviewed by the Conference Programme Committee. Authors of accepted abstracts must register and pay the applicable conference registration fee by the registration deadline.

Application Deadline

Early Bird Abstract Submission Deadline: January 15, 2027. Final Abstract Submission Deadline: March 19, 2027. Full conference registration fees are due by April 29, 2027. Full papers for the Conference Proceedings are due by July 19, 2027.
