A competitive University of North Texas award of up to $500 for graduate students presenting peer-reviewed research or creative work at a conference.
Eligibility
Applicants must meet the following requirements:Be a graduate student at the University of North Texas.Present an authored or co-authored, peer-reviewed research paper or creative project accepted for presentation.Secure financial support from a department, college, program, or another appropriate source.Attend at least two qualifying Graduate Studies Professional Development Graduate Workshops before applying.Apply for and receive approval before traveling.Participate actively in the conference; attendance as a general audience member alone is not eligible.Apply and travel within the same academic year.
Benefits
The award provides competitive travel funding for eligible graduate students.The total award amount will not exceed $500.Students may receive only one Travel Award per academic year.Funds are reimbursed through the student's department after travel; receipts and documentation must be submitted no later than 14 days after returning.
