19 PhD Positions – MSCA COFUND BEST Doctoral Programme

The Université de Toulouse is offering up to 19 fully funded PhD positions through the MSCA COFUND BEST Doctoral Programme in France.

Who Can Apply

To be eligible, applicants must:

• Applicants who hold a master’s degree or equivalent diploma by the application deadline
• Applicants who do not already hold a doctoral degree
• Applicants who satisfy the MSCA mobility rule and have not resided or conducted their primary activity in France for more than 12 months during the 36 months before the deadline
• Applicants with good English language proficiency

Value

• A full-time, 36-month fixed-term French doctoral employment contract
• Approximately €2,050 net monthly salary before income tax
• Approximately €2,200 net monthly salary for fellows with family obligations
• €350 monthly travel and mobility allowance

Selection Criteria

Applicants are assessed on:

• Eligibility check from 24 to 30 November 2026
• Written evaluation from 4 December 2026 to 15 January 2027
• Consolidation of pre-selected projects from 19 January to 19 March 2027
• Oral evaluation from 29 March to 4 April 2027
• Results notification from 9 April 2027
