Overview

A hybrid UCAS summer school on Earth Science featuring online coursework and onsite research projects in Beijing, Nanjing and Xi'an, China.

Eligibility

Applicants must be full-time undergraduate, graduate or doctoral students at their home university.Applicants must have completed at least two years of undergraduate study by the start of the onsite project in July 2025.Applicants should have a background in Earth science, Environmental science, Ecology, Biology, Chemistry, Physics/Mechanics or a related field.Applicants should have an excellent academic record, a passion for frontier Earth Science research and fluent English.Priority was given to applicants from APRU members, ANSO members and UCAS international partners, and to applicants with scientific research experience who were willing to apply for a master's or doctoral degree at UCAS.

Applicants were required to apply through the International Student Online Application System and choose one institution for the onsite research project.The program listed two admission batches, with application periods ending on April 15, 2025 and May 9, 2025.   • Online coursework attendance was limited and granted on a first-come, first-served basis
